FDA Regulatory Lawyer
US - Remote
Axiom is currently seeking lawyers with experience in the food and beverage industry to work for our top F500 clients seeking experienced lawyers in the food and beverage industry to advise F500 clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and consumer protection laws. Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience, including work on FDA regulations, product safety, and alcohol compliance, and should be open to working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Research, interpret, and provide guidance on federal and state consumer protection laws.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management challenges in the area.
- Stay updated on emerging consumer protection trends and legal developments.
- Partner cross-functionally with the clients' commercial teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience focused on consumer protection regulation work in-house on a corporate legal team in the food and beverage industry.
- Experience with matters related to the FDA, product safety, code of conduct work, 3rd-party due diligence, and/or alcohol compliance.
- Experience related to FDA regulatory packaging and labeling.
- Experience working at food processing companies.
- Openness to working remotely full-time or part-time during standard business hours.
- Active bar license in the state where you will be performing the work.
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of highly competitive compensation starting at $175,000 and benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
