Commercial Property Lawyer - Melbourne

Responsibilities

• Advise, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and leases related to property transactions.
• Provide expert legal counsel and guidance on property-related issues and regulatory matters.
• Conduct due diligence, assess potential risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with different business units to explain and advise on legal matters including but not limited to; commercial leasing, acquisitions and disposals

Requirements

• 5+ PQE with in-house experience preferred.
• Proven experience advising various real estate matters inclusive of property transactional matters, commercial leasing, development projects, structuring/restructuring and due diligence.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian property laws and regulations.
• Experience working with large scale retail/property companies is preferential.
• Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
