Legal Consultant - Compliance

We are currently seeking a Legal Consultant - Compliance to join our bench and work with our F100 clients on a long term basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in monitoring and advising on regulatory compliance matters relevant to a SFC entity
• Assisting in advising on entity and individual licensing and registration requirements, while ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls in respond to regulatory drivers and business changes
• Supporting the preparation of license applications and regulatory filings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field
• Previous experience in compliance, regulatory matters, legal, audit or a related area preferred; ideally gained within a financial institution though not essential
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese is required
• Team player with the ability work independently and multi task with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
