Contracts Counsel

Our client, a leading cybersecurity software company, is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to their purchasing, marketing, and other departments by reviewing and negotiating vendor agreements. The ideal candidate must be available to work on-site one day per week in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate vendor agreements, including services agreements, SOWs, subscription agreements, and licensing agreements, supporting purchasing, marketing, and other internal business units. 
• Support the organization's enterpirse sales unit in structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial software and SaaS-related agreements.
• Assist with projects relating to commercial contracting, including updates and enhancements to operational policies and procedures.
• Assist Product & Compliance Counsel with compliance-related matters for North America.

Qualifications: 

• Must be licensed to practice Law in Texas.
• 3 - 5+ years of focused, relevant, commercial contracting experience ideally from an in-house environment.  
• Strong working knowledge of the contract lifecycle process and experience utilizing and maintaining contract management software for negotiations.
• Experience and aptitude in working cross-functionally with internal organizations to resolve questions and concerns.
• Ability to use sound judgment to address complex issues while balancing legal and business requirements appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be available to work on-site in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 1 - 2 days per week. 

Compensation, Benefits & Location: 

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
