Responsibilities: 

• Advise clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property. 
• Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Identify potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters. 
• Offering strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 5+ years PQE working in Australia.  
• Deep understanding of technology law and experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of SaaS contracts. 
• In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations including the Privacy Act. 
• A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills. 
• Experience working on and negotiating government contracts is highly desirable. 
• Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
