Junior to Mid-level ERISA/Employee Benefits Lawyer
US - Remote
We are seeking junior to mid-level Employee Benefits/ERISA lawyers to work with our clients in the financial services, luxury retail, food/beverage, technology and life sciences industries.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience specializing in ERISA and employee benefits law.
- Experience with ERISA plan governance requirements.
- Strong understanding of ERISA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant federal and state regulations.
- Experience reviewing M&A due diligence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three years of relevant legal practice experience in employee benefits law.
- License, in good standing, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you intend to practice.
- Efficient multitasker combined with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Positive mentality and willingness to tackle new and ever-changing business needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $110,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
