Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer, Melbourne

Our client is seeking a highly experienced commercial contracts lawyer, to support one of their subsidiary companies in all aspects of Commercial and Trade. This fantastic opportunity would give you the chance to make an impact in an organisation with a network that spans over 500 locations with more than 50,000 employees.

Responsibilities: 

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in an in-house setting.
• Advising on issues and risks in a retail or wholesale environment, particularly with regard to procurement.
• Maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across teams.

Requirements: 

• 6+ years PQE.
• Open to a hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office.
• Significant experience working on a wide variety of commercial contracts, preferably within the building or construction law sector.
• Experience in risk identification and management, and contract planning.
• Experience in franchising highly regarded.
